Data-center migration: Friday, 28th September 2018 11 PM CT

Maintenance Update affecting all applications hosted on Rackspace

For over a decade Achiga has been using Rackspace as a hosting provider. Live CMS and all public facing applications built on Live CMS are hosted from Rackspace’s data-center facility DFW1 in Dallas, Texas.

Rackspace has opened a new data-center facility, DFW3, and has decided to physically migrate all DFW1 customers to the new DFW3 facility.

Rackspace has scheduled an eight-hour maintenance window during the migration, which will take place at the following time:

Start time: Friday, 28th September 2018 at 11:00 PM
End time: Saturday, 29th September 2018 at 07:00 AM

All times are in Central Time (CT).

Rackspace has indicted to us that they may not need the entire 8-hour window for migration but that applications will experience outage for a sustained period during this time. Live CMS all customer web applications will not be accessible during the maintenance window.

We will inform all Live CMS users about the data-center migration via a pop-up notification that will be displayed once a user has logged into our platform.
